How It Works

1

Label Your Jar

Stick a label on the side or lid of your mason jar, can, or container. Press firmly on a clean, dry surface.

2

Write the Details

Use any pen, marker, or Sharpie to write the contents, date, batch, or recipient name.

3

Dissolve & Reuse

When the jar is empty, run it under water. The label dissolves in seconds — zero residue, ready to reuse.

💰

Reuse your jars year after year. Clean dissolve means every jar gets another life.

Best Practices

  • Apply labels to clean, dry jars at room temperature for the best adhesion.
  • Works on glass mason jars, metal lids, and even plastic containers.
  • Write on the label before sticking it to curved jar surfaces for easier writing.
  • Labels stay firm through canning, storage, and refrigeration — dissolve only when you want.
  • For gift jars, use a Sharpie or fine marker for the cleanest look.
  • When ready to remove, run under warm water for the fastest dissolve — cold water works too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the labels survive the canning process?

Apply labels after canning and cooling. They stay firm through storage, refrigeration, and normal handling. They dissolve only when you intentionally run them under water.

Do they leave residue on my mason jars?

Zero residue. The labels dissolve completely under water — no scraping, no soaking, no sticky gunk. Your jars come out perfectly clean.

Can I use these for gift jars?

Absolutely. The designs look beautiful on gift jars. Use a fine marker or Sharpie to write contents, dates, or personalized messages.

What surfaces do they work on?

Glass, metal lids, and smooth plastic. They stick best on flat, clean, dry surfaces.

What can I write on them with?

Any pen, marker, Sharpie, or ballpoint pen. For the best look on gift jars, we recommend a fine-tip Sharpie.

Good labels

I like these labels, but I wish they were a tad bigger (2.5 inches vs. 2.0). The paper is a bit dark, so it's sometimes hard to read the label in my dark pantry. However, the labels are very sturdy, and I like that they are dissolvable:)

Label magic

I absolutely adore these labels! They're ideal for marking when we open jars of sauces, salsa, etc., in the fridge. They're also handy for labelling frozen meals in Tupperware.

The best washable labels

These labels are a joy to use, they're easy to write on and clean off quickly. They help keep track of when a food item was cooked and stored. And once the container is empty, the labels soak off in about 30 seconds, or they can be placed in the dishwasher.

Won't stick!

The labels won't stick! I labeled my jars and within minutes, they started curling up. Even after attempting to press them back down, they didn't adhere. It's not an issue of cleanliness, as I make sure to wipe and dry the surface before applying. My old labels stick just fine, so it seems I'll have to revert back to them.
